Barefooted

What should I do on a "bare feet" day?

I am on a day off work soon and think I will spend the day in bare feet, my usual dress code. I plan to catch the train to town with all the commuters (that will be funny being barefoot while everyone else is going to work). What things can I do in town with no shoes on? Being shoeless rules out going to things like Art Galleries and the Museum because they probably insist on footwear.

Go to Castlereagh Street and try to get into the posh shops. Or just go shopping in Pitt St Mall. If you like shopping.

I went into the city barefoot once. Never again. The pavements feel slimy and awful.

Have a Pedicure! doesnt matter whether your male or female nothing feels better!! I always say shoes afetr a pedicure ruin them anyway =) then while your feet are soft have a picnic in a nice green park!! nothing is more refreshing then then feel of soft grass!

Walk barefoot in the park! I love the feel of grass under me.

Ya Its Me
since you're going into your city on the train barefoot and apparently not wearing even sandals or flip flops, you still have several places that will be fun hang out shoeless.

Outdoor patio grills and pubs for food, parks, beaches, pools, water parks, etc. If you live near a coastal city, most shops near the pears, etc you can wander in barefoot and nobody says anything...I've seen that many times (and done it a few times myself)

Barefoot! Mate it is winter here in OZ, you feet will freeze. go to the park or the beach. If you have to go to Museums, Art Galleries or Restaurants take shoes, as you may be refused entry. Oh and watch out for broken glass & used syringes

I don't get what the big deal is about being bare footed.
Why would certain places not let you in? A supermarket? Get real. They're not going to kick you out because you're not wearing shoes. I've never been kicked out of anywhere or not let in because of no shoes. And thongs are the stupidest invention ever. Most people look like a tool when they wear thongs (sorry "flipflops" for the morons out there)
Jeezum Crow people, get a freakin' clue.

I guess it depends on where you live. You cant do a lot w/ out shoes such as go in restaurants or supermarkets, museums etc. I guess you better pack a bag lunch and plenty of drinks and be prepared to take a walk on the town, maybe if there are any nice parks or beaches around, you can spend some time there.

you
I think the beach, the park may be some dog poo germs..

When you have a strong heel, the high arch must be there automatically, because the bones of the middle-foot are based on the strong heel. And there is another effect: Women with strong heels and high arches have naturally a powerful way to walk, because the heel is trained usually by using it while walking. You can really hear a powerful heel of a barefoot woman coming on a wooden floor for instance: It makes hard noises, when the heels come down. A flat feet however does not make this noise. It goes rather slap-slurf-slap, and: Women with flat feet (men in the same way, naturally) use to have a bad body style... somewhat week and fluffy ted while walking. It makes no nice image watching those women... sometimes they are somehow fat, and you will turn your eyes away automatically. Those bad coordinated flat feet are even not able to crush something in a nice way, because the owner does in the actual moment not know, what part of the foot should do it. And hesitation coupled with a helpless face is the awful consequence. However: A woman with high arches and strong heels use to know naturally to take the heel to crush (or the tiptoe with a high curved foot). Those women are also much better able to go in high heels. A flat foot will naturally drive the heel in the backside, because the weight is also in the middle of the shoe, and for this such a shoe in most cases is simply not built. So turn your eyes away from those flatfooted women... because they can destroy erotic feelings! Not for all, indeed, but for nearly all of us!"
good luck
