Howard's answer is correct, and the simplest way to think of it.
Just one addition from me: "Ben, John and myself" is NEVER right, and is an abomination that should never be used. |

As the SUBJECT of a sentence, use "I." As the OBJECT, use "me."
Take out the names and see how it works. Ben, John, and I go to work (I go to work). She threw rocks at Ben, John, and me (She threw rocks at me). |

It depends on whether it is part of the subject or predicate of the sentence. If the subject "B, J & I". If the predicate, "B,J & me". |

Definitely - this is correct English.
People use "me" - when in conversation - so it doesn't sound so stiff and formal.
However, for writing it is "I."
