If your neice is moving here, to Australia, soon after Christmas get her a new swimsuit, beach towel or beach wear.
It's summer here and she'll probably be swimming a lot.

Anything electrical won't be compatible here.

She's coming to Australia in summer, buy her a nice swimsuit and a beach towel.

A beach bag with some sunscreen etc. in it so that she can hit the beaches and start enjoying the Aussie lifestyle as soon as she gets of the plane.

Ok, DONT try and give her australian 'cultural dances'. Only the Aboriginals in the bush do them and she'll look like a douche trying to. And noone here uses boomerangs. We have different electrical plugs here so if she's moving here for good, no point in getting something with a lead... I was gonna say, bathers cos it's summer here now and you need them a lot here but that's been said (really good idea though)... Maybe a Aus/Usa power adapter so anything she has and is bringing here can still work? Maybe just something simple, like a diary or something she can have all her friends over there write in to say goodbye.

There is no way to put a price value on these holiday gifts. The gift itself may have cost a small amount, but the love felt with its giving and the memories that span a life time are without price. It will be the same for your children. It may not always be possible to gage what gift will be the one to engender such fond memories.

If she likes dancin make her a CD filled with great American dance music. If she's moving to Austrailia, she won't be able to listen to dat music all the time.

YOu can also buy haer a bunch of CDs from her favorite Artists

How about a dance video that has different dance styles from Australlia. I know that they have their "native" dances. Could be cultural and fun at the same time.

PinkSparkles
how about Dance Dance Revolution?
