listening to a program on wireless this morning from Sydney.they said THEY WERE 11 HOURS IN FRONT. it was 10am here and 9pm there. they were having a firework display for the younger ones at that time so that the adults could come back for the main event after putting the kids to bed. what a great idea. happy new year
