What to do in Sydney in the rain? |
In Sydney for a valentines break and looks like fairly constant rain.
My bf's 1st time to Sydney which is a real shame. Any tips on what to do: dont want to spend all day shopping and do not really fancy visiting the acquarium.
Am staying in the city. Any good spas or massage places we can visit? |

There are tons of things to do in Sydney... You can go up Centre point tower as someone suggested, or walk on the Harbour Bridge, which will give your BF a good memory... Even though it might rain a bit, it would be good to show your BF the type of weather that Australia has to... It you want something luxury, a dinner at the Centre point Tower would be great... Or to drive to Bondi Juntion shopping and book a table at the restaurant (Forgot the name but there is one), were you can see the Harbour Bridge... |

I'm not sure off the top of my head, but if you get the Lonely Planet Guide to Sydney, I believe that it suggests a walking tour of indoor things to do in Sydney if it's raining. Powerhouse Museum and the Queen Victoria Building are superb. |

Hello.. Sydney looks very beautiful when it rains
The harbor is one of the best attractions in Sydney, and much of it is free to enjoy! For a fun and cheap romantic excursion, catch the ferry to Manly for a nice view from the water and a chance to explore the shops and beaches of this north shore community.

Yes, it rains from time to time, but as Sydney is the most fabulous city in the world, who cares!
Be careful if you go swimming, though. There was another shark attack a couple of days ago. |

You could catch the River Cat and go up to parramatta.
walk 230 m above the city on a glass floor with sky walk at Sydney Tower.
There are plenty of museums the maritime one at Darling harbour is good
