Choose something from the skilled occupations list, and figure out how to get defined as being one of those. The good news is that some of them really don't require any training or special skills, but they do require you to demonstrate that you've worked in that profession prior to arriving in Australia, eg gardener, cook (not chef, just cook!).
The list is periodically updated and reflects positions that employers have difficulty filling. The highly-educated and highly-paid Australian workforce means that actually many unskilled jobs are difficult to fill, and provide a great option for people from other countries who are willing to do these jobs to immigrate.
The higher the number of points allocated in the referenced list, the more likely you are to achieve sufficient points to enable you to immigrate. |

As you are aware you do need a trade to get emigrate to Australia. There is no real best trade that is guaranteed to get you in, except one which I will say at the end, the Australians run a point system, trades score different points at different times depending what the country is short on at the time. You will also have to prove that you enough money to support yourself while you are there.
The only trade/job that will give you the best chance of getting in is Soldier and I believe you need a minimum rank of Sergeant.
The best thing you could do is to contact the Australian High Commission/Embassy and they should be able to tell you the current trades and all other restrictions they have. |

I do'nt know about easy, but anything to do with refridgeration/air conditioning would be a good one.I know they are screaming out for mechanics and the building trades too.If all this is a bit macho, then chef, hairdresser, keep fit instuctor etc will also get you. |

Not very easy but not Brain Surgery.
Try becoming a Car Diesel Mechanic.
I have just come back from Aus.
They are just beginning to suffer from the increase in fuel costs. Aussies are turning in a big way to diesel.
But as it's such a big sparsely populated country the garages are mainly low tech.
Any diesel mech is guaranteed employment |

Most of the easy trades are filled by the less cluey of our locals. We have no shortage of hairdressers, nail beauty technicians, hamburger flippers, people who can drive trucks and retail assistants. Heavy machinery operators though might be favorably regarded. Foundry people, fitters, real mechanics, not the shade tree kind, car and truck electricians and so forth can probably get in. |
