I guess you want to know Melbourne's weather in June to September. It varies year to year. Average low of 4 degree Celsius to average high of 14 degree Celsius from June to August. Should be 3 to 6 degrees warmer in September to October in average temps. And days in their 20's Celsius are more common from October.
Summer is 12 to 24 degree Celsius average low and high. But many days are recorded warmer, and some nights the temps can drop to 9 degree Celsius in summer. And more commonly 30 to 40 degree Celsius temps occur during Summer, BUT all this varies from year to year:) |

Theoretically, in Australia June, July and August are winter and its pretty cold (no snow) and have fair bit of rainfall. September and October are in Spring and it will be a lot warmer, especially the later. The summer months in Australia are December, January and Feburary, and be warned, there will be a lot of heatwaves. especially janurary/feburary when the average temp is about 38 degress celcius(100.4 F). We once had a 44 degrees celcius day (111.2) |

Hey there,
In June - October you are in the Australian Winter months. The further south you go, the cooler the weather. In all honesty (and having been in Melbourne myself during that time) you are probably looking at temp similar to a british spring/summer. However, Melbourne is renown for its changeable weather and has been branded the city of four seasons - you can have four seasons worth of weather in a day there.
Don't let that put you off though. Melbourne is a wonderful city and the people there are great. There is plenty to do all year round.. have fun. |

Summer is December - February-it's hot
Autumn (Fall, for the Yanks)- March -May
Winter is June - August
Spring is September - November
Melbourne is very hot and dry in summer, temperatures reached up to 40C this summer, but that was extreme, still it's always very hot there in summer. |

June to September is pretty much winter here; and Melbourne can be very cold and miserable. On other days it can be not to bad. The saying is that in Melbourne one can experience four seasons in a day. But that's in summer! Winter there can be bloody miserable.
In Sydney, however, we live in blissful disdain of, but - at the same time - pity for, our Southern brethren; because we have the sun, the surf, the Opera House, the Bridge and a temperate climate in which to enjoy it all.
Do I need to say anything more? |

In the North in June to October its can get quite warm up the top but from about 2thirds of Australia it is quite cool with snow fields and cold winds. In the Summer it can vary from very hot in Melbourne to steamy and wet ~~ |
