Wilcannia (NSW). Aboriginal town where all the abos are poor and dont work they just walk around in mobs and vandalise stuff. Only the white people work there. The town is also very dirty and most of the buildings are crumbling and run down.

Wilcannia. You drive in and it's a nightmare. Buildings vandalised everywhere with boarded-up windows. Drunken people roam the streets screaming abuse at one another. The few businesses still operating mostly have metal shutters over every window and high fences. It used to be a major town with many fine old buildings, but now they are full of squatters or being smashed up.

I've seen plenty of small towns in Australia that would be pretty boring to live in, but not many that I'd actually be frightened to live in, but Wilcannia is one of them.

Re: Gunning. I think most of the pictures on that link are fakes and not from anywhere in Australia. Look at the license plates and the brands of the beer etc.

I had to go Roebourne for work one afternoon and hopefully I won't have to go back.

That would be Inala, Richo..... a godforsaken little hole of a place. Lock you car windows and drive through as fast as you can so the Hills Have Eyes styled bogans don't get you!

That Gunning pic is oh so doctored. Probably a nice couple, whose photo happens to be in a camper park, but you can see the seams where they've added the mullet, his flanelette shirt, the dog, his beer, pants, her cigarette........

going down the Fleurieu penisular in South Australia some silly little town that booked me for going 40 ks an hour past a school when there was no one on the roads and I said well thats the limit in Queensland and he said not here its 25 and they had no signs out and I was told I should go to the nearest library and read the highway code. I was so disgusted I drove out of SA that day into Victoria

Lamb island. It's a small island off brisbane, where there's one corner store, and everybody knows everybody. If an 'outsider' comes they all stare at you with their inbred 3 eyes.

Moss Vale. What a hole. Some towns in the outback with 3 residents, 2 rusty nails and a blown tyre sitting by the roadside is more exciting.

From this link - Gunning looks like a winner! Do have a look - the link is safe and humourous and does serve a purpose to the question.

If you think for one minute that this site is true - then you are a joke yourself. Perhaps you live in an inbred town - it was just a light-hearted answer to go with a lighthearted question.
