Maybe you should give more information about what shoe taps are??
I would say try Bloch in Sky Garden on Pitt st in Sydney. |

Rubber soles with metal taps? never heard of or seen them. With the exception of taps for dancing shoes I think they are a thing of the past. |

I think you need a little old shoe repair man who has been in the business for decades. I remember them, but now people don't usually have leather soles, I think they are predominantly used on leather soles, most these days are plastic or similar. |

If you mean those almost crescent shaped metal things that protect the underside of shoe toes and heels, I think shoe repair shops would be the place to go. Perhaps not your local Mr Minit, but real shoe repairers. Look in the yellow pages for your area. Bunnings or another large hardware store might also be worth a try. |

I would also be asking your dance teacher for sources. Also check out the dance supply shops. There used to be one somewhere in the city but I'm damned if I can remember the name of the shop or the street it is in. Pretty sure too, I've seen theatrical suppliers on one of the roads leading to Central from the City (not George Street) |
