Try white water rafting on the Mitta river, go to a town in Gippsland called Walhalla (it's beautiful and steeped in history) there's a gold mine there you can tour etc.
You could do a ghost tour of Melbourne at night, go to the Queen Victoria markets in the day, tour the Botanic gardens, take a free tram ride around the town.
Victoria is a very diverse state. The great ocean road drive is a must see though, stay at Port Fairy and cruise the Moyne river, sample the seafood, visit the massive volcanic crater lake at Tower Hill, Warrnambool and experience the wildlife that lives there too.

You did not state where you are currently living, so this is a tad hard. Anywhere around Lakes Entrance, if they are into water. Wilson's Prom, if they are into hiking. Warnambool if history is their game and Swan Hill if they want to veg out . It is all fun actually |

Try Barwon Heads or Ocean Grove!
there are no major attractions like an go karts.
but the be beaches are nice and safe.
the town is lovely - good fishing.
the kids can go riding around on there bikes- plus it's not too pricy.
it's where they filmed that abc show ' seachange'
i spent every summer there when i was a kid. highly recommended.
plus there are some adventure parks in the area |

Welll this might be a bit out of the way but when we were younger we went to the Whittlesea Alpine Toboggan Park...it's heaps of fun, there's a toboggan (obviously) and a pool if it's hot enough and...um...oh a mini golf and a go-kart thing if they're tall enough (I think it's 135). But it's been a few years since I've been so it might be different now.
And Ocean Grove and the Bellarine Peninsula are good too |
