The last I heard about vegemite in the USA was that it had been banned due to one of it's ingredients "folate" being included and there being some rule about it only being allowed in bread and cereals. I did manage to post some to a friend overseas and she received it ok without having it removed from her parcel, but that was when the new rule first came in so i'm not sure if now it would be different.

i went to australia and have a small container of vegemite. i have never heard or seen anyone have vegemite in the usa. most people here don't even know what it is. i'm guessing your best bet would be to order it online from australia or if you know anyone that lives in australia to have them mail it to you. |

I don't believe we have it in the US, unless someone has brought it or bought it from somewhere. You may just have to buy it online. |

It's going to be REALLY hard unfortunately.
The reason the Vegemite company doesnt ship out heaps of vegemite worldwide is because a LOT of people dont like the taste, and if no one likes the taste, no one will buy it [Therefore, the compary will LOSE money!]. You really have to have Vegemite from the time you're little and grow up with it to like it. I'm Australian and love, love, LOVE Vegemite! I've had it my whole life which is probably why.
I think you'll find it REALLY yucky though! A lot of people who have never tried it find it really gross-tasting.
Don't get too excited about it; you'll probably get disappointed when you try it xD
You only need a TINY scraping on a piece of toast; its really strong.
I have heard that it's being banned in the US.
