Canberra is definatly the safest...no crime no nothing around here.
but its SOOOO boring, the shops are good but everything else is not.

Sydney has heaps of crime and not meaning to offend anyone but ALOT of asians. I mean if you were put there you'd think you were in hong kong. Sydney is great if you want the city life though, and so is melbourne !

I'd recommend MELBOURNE!! I'm moving there next year and I've been there 3 times it was awesome. The weather is perfect there, not too hot or cold, and lots of shopping and food! Plus, it's safe there. Sydney's good too, I love the food there, and the clothes are great! I bought heaps there last year. However it does get too hot sometimes and it's dangerous there. But if I would say which one has more variety, and more fun, i'd say Sydney.

Yes, I definitely think that the best place to go is "down under" mate. It's trendy to go to Sydney.

Sydney is a busy city - I preferred the look of Melbourne, and one of my work friends really likes the place now they live there.

I'd suggest Melbourne first, then Brisbane. If you like a laidback lifestyle...then definitely its Adelaide. Sydney has more opportunities but Melbourne and Brisbane provide better overall living conditions.

Hope this helped you to some extent atelast!!! :)

Teachers are in demand anywhere in Australia.

Best pay choose Sydney
Best life choose Brisbane (close to Whitsundays, Sunshine Coast, Gold Coast)
