Airlie Beach or Mission Beach are my two favourites, you can visit the islands of the coast of these two beaches as well, they are competitively priced and the most beautiful white sand beaches you will see anywhere in the world, very friendly too, as soon as you arrive at either of these, a sense of peace comes over you and you relax, also have nightclub action if you are into that as well, I cant speak highly enough of either of them, they are both in North Queensland and its beautiful one day and perfect the next! :) |

Well it really depends on what your style is for a holiday. But I loved it the first time I went to Yamba in NSW at the Blue Dolphin Resort, it was great as it had heaps of activities and places to relax for kids and adults. Also the beaches are nice. South West Rocks is good too, for the fishing and the beaches. A lot of people like to go to the Gold Coast for Dreamworld, Movie World, etc. I think Australia is truely blessed in having just superb and wonderful landscape and nature. If you want a holiday you should really get in touch with the scenery! Hope you have a good holiday. |

Well personally I would go to Yarrawonga in NSW it's really relaxing and you have fun there there is also a caravan park there and in the caravan park there is a big swimming pool and lots of shops just outside the caravan park
Enjoy your holiday! |

definitely the Gold Coast or the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. they both have the sun and surf. Broome in Western Australia is also a nice place to go. Both can turn out to be quite expensive. When i need to get away i like to go to Melbourne for a Girls weekend of shopping and drinking. If you want sun and surf def the first three but if you just want relaxing it could be anywhere, everywhere in Australia has something to offer it is just a matter of what you want. |

Sydney will be the first choice because it has an Australia's individual taste.
Melbourne is kind of European like with cooler weather that could change from cool - hot - cold in a day.
Gold Coast and Brisbane is kind of like a touristy city.
Other cities are special but kind of smaller in size. |

Italy is the new addition

Mango, ironically I recommend Townsville/Magnetic Island. Its not overly commercialised and you can get very affordable accom. This time of year the weather is unreal. If you like fishing its superb on the reef and has fair priced charters. All round if I had the choice I'd be back there now. |

I agree with Froggie. Airlie Beach is a popular tourist destination and not over priced. Mission Beach is awesome. Its definitely one of the best holiday spots in Australia. The beach is beautiful and the water is fantastic, there are a few great restaurants and lots of relaxing places. Its also fantastic for rain forest walks and waterfalls. Def go there. |

it depends on what time of year you plan to come. australia is a huge country, similar in size to europe or north america.
each state has it's own attractions and each would be worth visiting. you are going to have to do a little research of your own.
try the tourism websites of victoria, tasmania, new south wales, queensland, south australia, western australia and the northern territory. |

the great barrier reef in queensland is beautifull
anywhere along the great ocean road in victoria is nice
thats if you like beachy places
if you prefer more historical playes theres Uluru (the massive rock) in cantral Australia
Coober Pedy in South Australia (on of the most famous opal mining places in the world, you can also stay in underground accomadation, which its also famous for)
Melbourne has the best shopping in australia
theres Also Tasmania which will be cooler but its less populated and really pretty
enjoy your holiday! |
