I think it would be Perth WA. From what I have heard about it - it kind of reminds me of Vancouver, which is on the west coast as well, isolated from the other major cities in the country. Everybody knows Sydney with its world famous opera house and Harbour Bridge, a huge metropolis just like Toronto, so why not do something different and head out to the west coast. Where its more laid back, beautiful beaches on the Indian Ocean, visit the Swan River and its wineries, Rotnest Island, Fremantle cafes and shops, etc.

For me it is WA. I have beeen to all the other states in Oz but have never gotten to WA. I would love to travel the coast all the way to the top.

Would love to go to Alice Springs, I know that there isn't much to do there apart from Ayres Rock, but I would really like to go there. It would be a lot different to what I can see in Melbourne. Also, after watching a TV show a few years ago called "The Alice" it showed how beautiful it is....imagine watching the sun set over the desert with a cold drink...hopefully i can take my daughter there one day.

For me, it would be Sydney.
It's the most active city in Australia.
It has so many things to see and learn from.
If i'd move, i'll move there

I'd like to visit Northern Territory - Alice Springs, Katherine, Tennant Creek, Darwin - desert, miles of open space - oh yea and Ayers Rock - excuse me Uluru. Olga and the Bungles too.

perth cos my best mate from uni emigrated there and i havent seen her in years

Darwin, as I havent been there yet, but Australia is so big, one could travel for years and still not see everything. But I plan to.

Oz has a lot of cool cities and towns, as well as the obvious ones like Sydney & Surfer's Paradise, but nothing beats the natural side of the country. The flora, fauna and sealife around the Great Barrier Reef can't be beaten anywhere in the world, so I would say the Whitsunday Islands.
