Where is Ackland Street in Melbourne?

I'm meeting up with a friend in a month time and I'm wondering where in Melbourne is Ackland street. I've heard of the street before but i don't know where or if it's in city centre. Anyone help out please.

It's in St Kilda - but I think he meant Acland Street.
It's around the corner from Novotel St Kilda.

I think the person who gave you the street name has the bad spelling. It's Acland Street. in St Kilda.

google "Acland street, Melbourne" and you will get the map.

Acland Street. is in St Kilda... The street is full of cafe bakery and restaurant... Theres a chocalote lollie shop you must buy from you will love it...

As everyone else said it is in St Kilda, which is not in the city, but still not too far out of it. If necessary you can easily catch a tram there (St Kilda line).
