i live in new zealand but have also lived in australia. the economy in australia is better i.e. you earn more money etc but there are some very different attitudes in the two countries, nz seems to have less racial tension and also is less america-like than australia. Aus on the other hand is warmer overall and has a lot of diversity in terms of where you can live and what you can do, it also has better unis etc if that is in the picture for you!
don't know anything about canada sorry!
(i personally vote nz with holidays to australia! best of both worlds!)

Do you really expect to get Australians to pick Canada or New Zealand? If it was me, I would say:
1. Australia
2. New Zealand (cos they're our cousins!)
3. Canada
Australia has such diversity in terms of places to go. The beaches are probably some of the best in the world; the cities have everything you would find anywhere in the world; the country (rural) areas can be close to cities or quite isolated. We have rainforests, deserts, wilderness areas that are so beautiful.
If you like the sun, come to Queensland. If snow and cooler weather is more your style, go to NSW, Vic or Tasmania. For National Parks and wilderness areas, the Northern Territory, Tasmania or Western Australia. Northern Territory and South Australia have a diversity with Desert, wilderness, rural and city centres.
Why pick Australia? Why would you go anywhere else? Apart from a few, most Australians are friendly and welcoming. |

Canada. Australia is turning into America. Especially if our Prime Minister is re-elected. We're turning backwards and people are getting racist and more conservative and religious all the time. It's not good.
Although, we do have nice beaches and you can just become a beach bum and not think about the wider world out there.... |
