Daylesford and Hepburn Springs. Only 90 min drive north -west from Melbourne. It is the spa capital of australia, has great restaurants, wine and very relaxing. As it is popular as a weekend getaway, try and go midweek and snap up eating and accommodation bargains. |

Nothing in the world can beat the Great Ocean Road trip to Warrnambool & Port Fairy. Magical is only one way to describe it. For the best food and relaxing accommodation that you are ever going to experience to whale watching or just enjoying the views. Have fun
PS- I live in SA so I only ever get to visit too |

I agree with one of the others. If you have lots of time then go to Sydney via the Princes Highway through Gippsland & South Coast NSW. Then on your way home stop at places inland via the Hume Highway. |
