Well personally, I don't just 'shack up' with anyone. I'm pretty picky. And you will generally find other Australian women are the same. It depends what type of women you are looking for, on where you should look. Brisbane or Sydney would be your best bet. Bigger cities+ more attractions.

Pretty much anywhere in the major cities. Clubs and Pubs and be sure to buy drinks for the girls as you do in the states. In AUS, guys don't buy girls drinks so Aussie ladies will be impressed if you do. I have had several young American guy friends come over and do really well in meeting Aussie girls. Make sure you are polite as well.

Come to The GoldCoast every morning about 5 am I see guys coming out of the night clubs and taking their new found lady down to the beach. but then if you want to see some tourist places as well then give Sydney a try.
