Canberra - nothing appealing there for me. |

Townsville. Nice to visit for a day, but soooo hot & oppressive.
As for Alice Springs (above), I have spent a week there and it was most enjoyable, close by scenery-wise. Obviously not a hot spot for night life except for pubs and casino if that's what you're after. |

Perth. i live here and it's the best!
EDIT:
Thought it was the city you'd most like to live in. lol. I'd least like to live in Canberra nothing at all making me want to visit, let alone live! Plus it's to damn cold, I like the big land of wa and the laid back lifestyle and the warm weather. |

Adelaide, but ony because i already live here, so it wouldn't be very exciting. i'm sure it would be if i was from somewhere else. other than that, there isn't any i wouldn't like to visit, because it is all new experiences and would be something i haven't seen before. |

Brisbane... because I have never felt the desire to go there. I think it is too commercialised. Mind I also wouldn't want to holiday in sydney but I live 2 hours out of Sydney so we do day trips... |

I think Adelaide, particularly if the hinterland was excluded. Maybe Perth and Darwin on the same basis. They are small enough that there is not a lot going on in the city itself, although there is a heap of good stuff for all of them within a couple of hundred kilometres. |

Not a very original question.

For the record, mine would be Hobart, followed by Perth. |
