Which are Sydney's worst suburbs?

I have heard of Redfern, Cronulla, Lakemba, Blacktown, St Marys, Mt Druitt, Penrith, Springwood and Katoomba as Sydney's worst. Any others? List them here if there are any I missed any.

Ive heard Liverpool and basically anywere from Lidcombe, Auburn and southwards towards Liverpool and Campbelltown are bad. But other people have said that places as Cabramatta are actually cleaned up and have alot of yuppies moving out there now. So there you go. Others have said Richmond - but i think that more a country town.

I live out west and have never had a problem anywhere. The only places ive had problems is in Sydney itself - especially George Street down near the cinemas.

The worst places are basically those where the pubs and clubs get out of control and the under 16's are using false ids to get hold of booze. And thats basically everywhere including Hornsby on a friday night.

The most important thing to remember is to never, ever, EVER, EVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES attempt to enter Everleigh Street in Redfern. Even the cops are too scared (and rightly so) to enter this street, regardless of whether they are in their cars or full body armour!

Maroubra. It's Blacktown with a Beach.
Rhodes. It's a waste dump. Literally.
Dulwich Hill. Dangerously boring.
Epping. Extremely safe, but you may get death threats if you don't mow your lawn every 2 weeks. At least I did.
Chatswood. Only because Ben lives there.

Newtown in Sydney. It's a really dirty suburb and the WORST, I would call it OLDTOWN.

I wasn't real keen on Bankstown either.

whats wrong with the south west? Its alright, just not at night because all the "gangsters" who think they're cool hang out at the maccas car park starting trouble with who ever walks past. Bloody idiots! blasting music in their cars, thinking they're all that. they dont have anything to do with their life.

Fairfield is bad, so is Liverpool..

Anywhere South-west and west.... Where all the 'Westies' come from. Even though Cronulla/shire people are racist, its not that bad there. Overall i would say Campbelltown, Liverpool,Blacktown, Mt Druitt, one half of Redfern, Marrickville, and parts of Parramatta. Actually the only 'good' suburbs would be the northern ones, where there actually arent any people on social security, call me a snob or not, but its true.

i don't know about katoombe. cuz i've there and the people are quiet friendly if u ask me. but u got otherwise u got them alright! anyway i think campsie, ballara, parramatta and mainly the southern, western are quiet worst.

Springwood and Katoomba are in the Blue Mountains. Not really Sydney. They aren't that bad. The kids just get really bored up there because there really isn't anything to do.
The western sydney towns you mentioned St Mary's Mount Druitt and Penrith can be pretty bad. But theres bad people everywhere you go.

Chatswood. The amount of bloody poofters i see here wearing fluro clothes sickens me. I swear 90% of the youth here are the worst kind of pansies this country has ever seen. The scariest thing is that their parents have all the money in the world, yet the under 30s are almost as retarded as those out west. It really beggars the mind how the most fortunate in the country have NO idea about the history or culture of this country, or any other for that matter. If i wasn't being paid a ridiculous amount of money (for my age at least) i'd move back home asap...
