Sydney.

Sydney harbour is one of the most beautiful in the world. The opera house and the harbour bridge are amongst the most recognisable icons in the world. Sydney's weather more often than not makes it a perfect place to spend the day outdoors. The same can't be said of London. Sydney is surrounded by beautiful places too - the Hawkesbury river, Southern highlands, Royal and Kuring-gai national parks and the Blue mountains. Sydney harbour itself is full of cosy private coves with amazing homes both new and old. There are the cute row houses of paddington, the counterculture in Newtown and the conservative old world homes of the north shore. London might have history and proximity to Europe, but Sydney has proximity to exotic places in the south Pacific, Asia and the some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It has a bold view for the future and a healthy respect for its past. There is no question, Sydney has it. Just ask all the Brits that have already voted with their feet, and moved there permanently.

l love London although most people do not realize in fact it is divided up into City or Westminster and the City of London but makes no difference.It depends what y ou call beautiful as love the culture,history and life in London but as for pure beauty you cannot beat the Sydney beaches,the scenery etc but in London you can jump off to the Continent,go everywhere around the UK which is the most beautiful Country in the World bar Norway.
l am being a traitor as l live in Melbourne and prefer that to Sydney which is all hustle and bustle and expensive but than London is not cheap either.
For good ness sake even an 7 yr old would knnow what country these two cities are..
By the way l am a British citizen albeit being in Australia since a baby and World traveller and lived in many places in my time.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder so it is up to you to decide not us as we are biased.

Your question asked only about which city is the most beautiful and on that score, the answer must be Sydney. It is one of the most beautiful cities in the world situated as it is in a breathtakingly beautiful natural setting. There is simply no way that could be said of London which while interesting and picturesque, could never be said to be beautiful. You didn't ask about history or quaintness or proximity to Europe.

London! The history is remarkable. and the cobble roads, and the underground, and EVERYTHING!plus its in europe, meaning plane tickets to other beautiful destinations are cheap and quick!

London by a mile, how can you even compare it to sydney?? London voted capital of the world in tourism and finance. It also has a bigger budget than sydney to it can build bigger and better things also London has more history than sydney. Im afriad London wins hands down.
