Which city is more beautiful between Sydney and Melburne?
Theres nothing special about Melbourne..
Its just a dirty, busy city.
Sydney definately takes the gold.

Theres more to do in Sydney anyway.

In my opinion, for a short tourist visit, Sydney is better.
A real good feeling in the air throughout the city for a tourist and severla sights around the harbour that have the wow factor and added bonus of bringing a smile to your face for ever more when you see them on the TV and think "I've been there"
Melbourne, (again in my opinion) would be better for a longer stay - it's more relaxed overall. and has brilliant beaches and natural beauty nearby - I'm sure the recent fires haven't detroyed it all.

Melbourne is more beautiful it is reffered to as Australias "Garden City" with a large amount of parks and gardens for visitors and locals to enjoy all year round. Sydney harbour is not that Spectacular it is dirty. So Move to Melbourne and enjoy!

It depends on personal preference. I've been to both Sydney and Melbourne...I personally prefer Sydney.

Now out of Sydney and melbourne both are different but Sydney is a really beautiful City one of the best in the world with its beautiful harbour the weather is better than melbourne the beaches are fabulous and a lot of places to see The Coastal drive is really nice between the 2 great Cities. Lots of nice villages fishing and beach places along the way The only big place really on the Coastal route is Wollongong which is nice . Far better than driving on the highway inland a little but the coastal route is longer.

Didn't Melbourne just get messed up by that huge fire?
