Which country has better lifestyle? UK or Australia?

Well it depends what you like. If you like beaches, hot weather and a bit more 'outdoors' then Aussie for sure. But if you like travelling, architecture and history, then UK hands down.

I found the price of fruit and vegetables (healthy food!) MUCH more affordable at Sainsbury's in the UK than it is at Woolworths in Australia - so I guess I'm afraid I disagree with the previous answer about "healthy food" being cheaper in Australia - because it's simply not. I believe the drought has pushed the prices of fruit and veggies up (?) - they're way more easily affordable in England.

It is also very easy to travel from the UK - for example a flight to Italy (if you're on the ball and on the internet) can set you back about £60...so it is very easy to travel all about Europe, and have weekends away quite frequently. To travel overseas from Australia can be quite pricey - and to travel within Australia is sometimes more expensive than travelling overseas!

Australia has 18 cities in the Fifty top "least affordable cities to buy your own home in" cities in the world - and rising interest rates will keep it that way by the looks of things.

On the other hand, Australia also has an excellent rate of employment currently - and you'll get a well paid job (if you're suitably qualified) with not a lot of trouble at all. Australia's cities are beautiful, clean and easy to navigate, and the diversity that you'll see in landscape and wild life is incredible....you can drive an hour from the beach and be in a rain forest. Australia has more natural beauty in it's little finger than a lot of countries have in their entire bodies hahah. (and yes I've been to a LOT of other countries).

Your question is very broad, so it is difficult to answer, but in general I think Aussie has a better lifestyle - it is more relaxed and certainly safer for children. (generally speaking, though that would depend on the city of course - London for kids is not that safe - but outside of London there are loads of little towns that are perfectly fine.) In the UK you have the weather to contend with - it can be depressing when you wake up and for the 18th day in a row, it's raining. and cold. and you have to fight your way through the crowds to get onto the trains. But as I said at the beginning - it depends on what you like!

Great question. I'm actually working on my speech about Au.
So i can help. Well Au is much more energy efficient and water Wise than the UK. The Au actually PUSHES for health by making the "bad food" more expensive than the "healthy food" And the UK is not good in the food dept. But it depends where you go in the UK and what you eat there. UK and Au is totally different weather Wise. UK is sometimes muggy and wet and sometimes sunny. Au is VERY sunny most of the time and you usually need sun screen every time you go out. I hope i helped!

Ha, Ha, Ha , Ha ....sorry mate but are you serious?

Just for the record , I was born in the UK but there's no way I would ever consider giving up this Aussie lifestyle for anything that's over there..

Apart from the economic benefits , you must have heard about the amazing climate , geography & the friendliness of the people ...
