The bridge do organised bridge walks, for which you have to book in advance.

Opera House would be a good vantage point, but as far as I know, roof access isn't open to the public, just celebs like Billy Connolly.

Either the Sydney Harbour Bridge or perhpas get up on the roof of the Opera House.

Chris S
walk across the harbour bridge towards the north side and look back towards the centre and opera house. as you get close to the northern end you can fit the skyscrapers and the opera house in a photo and its free

theres a set of stairs onto the bridge at the intersection of cumberland street and gloucester street

the bridge is quite expensive to climb, and you cannot take pictures while your up there, you can climb up the pylon on south sydney side and that still gives you great views of the harbour and the city.

Just go to Taronga Zoo.

They have great views too and you can even stay there overnight.
