Which is the best National Park in the WA region?

alright, when you come to WA, make sure you see rock formations & Beaches.
Where to get those depends on how far you willing to travel and WA is the biggest state in Australia.
Here are some suggestions:(Short distance)
1. Wave rock - rock formation that looks like wave ( at Hyden, around 10-11 hours return drive from Perth)
2. Magret River's cave - Few caves with weird, beautiful and interestinf rock formation. (pitch black cave) (some suggestion - Lake cave, mammoth cave & jewel cave) I cant remember how long the drive from perth but can make it morning and come back perth in the evening.
3. Pinnacles desert - desert but with rock formation all over, somewhere near Lancelin up north. Its nearer but you have nothing interesting along the way so that makes you feel long journey.

(Long distance)
1. Kalbarri - Up north after a town call Geraldton - very very very Super nice rock formation (cant return in 1 day, at least 2-3 days and 3 days also abit rush but you can do it if you want)
2. KIMBERLEY - I havent been there but planing, by looking at the brouchers and video, ITs STUNNING! but FAR away from perth, maybe you can take a flight and rent car when you arrive there.

Dont worry aboutbushwalking, you can have it along the way to all the rock formations. Just a few advices before you go:
1. Get brouchers from the information tourist at the city near the train station & police station so you wont get lost or miss out any interesting stuff.
2. WATER cause those two months are super HOT and dry!
3. Bring some snacks or foods in the car cause its hard to get restaurant when you are visiting those places(just in case)
4. other than that, i think nothing much but enjoy the facinating landscape of WA.

Hard to answer this because WA is such a large state and 2 weeks is not enough time to view them all.

I'd recommend either -

the Pilbara region taking in Kalbarri, Shark Bay, and Karajini NP around Tom Price/Paraburdoo...bushwalking, gorges, cliffs, beaches and Dolphins.

the SW taking in Busselton, Hyden (Wave Rock), Margaret River, Yallingup, Augusta, Pemberton, Bridgetown, Walpole, Albany, Esperance regions...caving, wineries, bushwalking, forests, beaches, surfing.

Millstream but it is long way up north,then there is Karijina not as far away there is also Kalbarri which doesn't have as many attractions but is beautiful but be aware that Jan,Feb are the hottest months of the year and up north it is cyclone season so Kalbarri would be good choice.
No matter where you go have a good time and you should be able to google up these parks to give you an idea good luck.

since time is limited kings park only a few minutes drive from perth,their is also a free bus from the city to kings park,easy to get to

Monkey Mia, not sure if it is a national park, but it is way up north, and the dolphins swim into shore.

if you can handle the heat go north to karijini, check out the pinnacles near kalbarri but around that time you probably wont have the energy to hike around. i would go south, albany walpole, margaret river, much more green and easy on the eyes

You are coming in our hottest months, so it would be best to go down south.

Walpole is great and there is a tree top walk through one of the parks.As for rock formations you will have to go North but it will be probably too hot at this time to enjoy.

All of the above suggestions are very good. But note that some National Parks in WA are in remote locations such as the World Heritage Area in Sharks Bay/Monkey Mia. And you definetely need a 4wd vehicle (not a Subaru AWD but proper Landcruiser/Pajeros/Pathwinder types) to really appreciate the beauty of the area.

Main rock formations of interest around the Perth area will be Wave Rock and Pinnacles as previously stated. But the Kimberleys are magnificent.

Two weeks is not a lot of time so target how much driving you will be willing to do, or else u might end up being in the car all the time.
