Sydney... without a doubt....

Mel
Everyone is going to have a different opinion on that. Most people love the city they have grown up in. Personally I would live in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane or Perth. I do prefer more regional cities though.

John S
Cairns without a doubt. Perth is full of whinging bl***y pommies, including my sister in law and hubby.
Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville also good

ABSOLUTELY MOST DEFINITELY NOT PERTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bec
Melbourne!! It's the food and fashion capital of Australia. There's is always something going on in Melbourne. We get a lot of tourists in Melbourne but not as many as Sydney which is good.

The city is absolutly beautiful and there is an excellent night scene. If you are into sports and live entertainment like music, plays and comedy, Melbourne is the place to be.

There's cheap public transport that will take you all around the city and neighboring suburbs. Personally, Melbourne is the best city in the world (London is second)

It is also cheaper to live in Melbourne then Sydney. All the other cities in Australia are pretty average.
