I'm guessing your American fom Arizona or New Mexico or somewhere else with a desert. Best "town" in Australia, God we have so many, so it depends what State or Territory your in. In Queensland i loved "Malaney", "Montville" or "Mappleton". In New South Wales in liked "Camden" but really enjoy living in "North Sydney".

I'm not sure where abouts you could get it overseas... but my preferred beer is XXXX Gold (pronounced as "four ex gold"). If you're ever in Brisbane you can do a tour of the XXXX brewery - I haven't done it yet but will asap (I hear it's fun). I also don't mind Foster's Light Ice, Hahn Premium Light, and Carlton Midstrength.

I've lived all over Australia, although not so much in the capital cities. I like Toowoomba in Queensland, it's a nice city, large enough to have a lot of things to do, not big enough to get lost in.

As far as cities go, I'm pretty found of Perth as a holiday destination... though during a heatwave in the middle of summer it's a bit much. I'd rather go there mid-year.

central coast NSW hour away from big city sydney but less populated beaches everywhere,work opputuntities,shops,friendly people...Manly sydney as well

Carlton Draught or Lite Ice are the best, and I'm not a beer drinker! There are a few places in the U S of A where you can buy Aussie beer but I don't know where they are.
Also we don't have cactus, but we do drink the milk of sheep, goats and kangaroos?

as for beer tooheys is the best, as long as its cold, its found in all good pubs Australia wide.
our milk supply comes from the local milkman... ( his wife must have huge hooters to produce milk for the hole town )

Brisbane, of course, simply because I live there, but the other options could be somewhere in QLD, like Carins, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast or Toowoomba, just some ideas.

Hi I live in Seven Hills in Sydney (NSW) but I absolutely love Cairns (far north Queensland) . Young a town which is western NSW and the Cherry capital and last but not least The Entrance on the NSW central coast, lots if fishing and surfing beaches.
We have the best towns all over Australia just a bit hard to see them all.

In Sydney the beer most people drink ( including my hubby) is Tooheys Draught, Also VB ( Victorian Bitter) there are several beers we can buy just depends on your taste.
