I used to think he was an idiot but found out later that he was an extremely smart cookie. He found out what stereotype would sell in the USA and exploited it for all he was worth. I was sorry to hear that he was killed, and I'm even sorrier that his little daughter is now being exploited.

Yes I'm a Queenslander And Steves family are often in the news. I went to Australia Zoo about 12 years ago when it was run by his father who then handed the Zoo over to Steve . Steve built it up and did a lot of work with wildlife. His wife was in the Audience when Steve spotted her. Steve was a good business man and had a good head on him to build the Zoo up. He was a showman so he was able to drag in the crowds and people became very interested in his showmanship with crocs. He unfortunately died from a stingray barb andhis wife Terri and children Bob and Bindi are keeping up his good work and passion for saving wildlife.

He was everything mentioned above. One of the saddest things about his death is that Bindi his little girl is now being exploited to keep the dollars rolling in.
