Why are all the nastiest animals in Australia?

Because we don't live around them..
I've never seen a box jellyfish, a great white shark, crocodiles, etc etc.
Spiders don't hurt you if you don't stick your hand down a spider hole, or put your genitals onto a spider's web.
Snakes ARE more scared of you than you are of them. If you make a lot of noise when you are in the bush, they'll run off. Just don't try and find a snake nest.
We have shark nets, obviously, so none get anywhere near you unless you go looking for them out to sea.
You'd have a better chance of being bitten by a person than an animal in Australia.

Unless you're doing something stupid, you won't be hurt.

It's the two leg variety of "nasty" creature that I'm more concerned about.

We very rarely see any Great Whites, Crocs, Snakes or Box Jellyfish in our suburban backyards.

As for venomous spiders, I just whack them with a shoe if they come near me.

No problem for Aussies to live in the cities. And those living in remote areas are used to the animals and take care. Wild animals had been there before men came and might be still there when men has extincted.

anyway we only have 9 out of 10 of the worlds deadliest snakes,so some sucker has the other 1

What about Africa - the lions, rhinos, elephants etc.... what about USA and Canada, mountain lions, grizzly bears, snakes .... (to name a couple)

I would be more worried over there - Living in Australia is a breeze !

You forgot to mention the Dropbears and Hoopsnakes on your list, but don't worry they will leave you alone if you don't bother them.

The nastiest animals in Australia have two legs, talk and they are not parrots.

As for the rest, I have not seen a snake for 23 years. I have never seen a Jox Bellyfish, a GW shark or a funnel web spider. The only crocs I've ever seen were in a zoo or a croc farm, and I used to live in a own where crocs were sometimes seen. Of course there are those ugly plastic shoes, they're pretty nasty.

It's all a media beat up, mostly promoted by that character who used to wear khaki all the time and say "Crikey!" a lot. Not to speak ill of the dead but a lot of us thought he was a clown.

We are far more likely to be bitten by the family dog.

At least there is no rabies here. How do other countries get on with that? Millions of dogs, bats, coyotes, wolves and all, running around foaming at the mouth all the time and biting everything in sight. Horrible.

that really is so stupid .. do you think we australian's all live out in the bush in nothing but a tent?? yes we have crocs ... i have never seen one besides in a zoo, yes we have sharks .. which are kept away from our beaches with shark nets ... box jellyfish they are also on the other side of the nets which i have never seen one. As for spider's the common spider's we have creeping into our house are daddy long legs which are harmless and huntsmans which are also harmless .. however most of us have our houses sprayed for pests. as for snakes I have been bitten once due to me drunkinly bush walking with no shoes on whilst camping in land... and it was a dry bite which ment no venum was injected which is what most bites are. Obviously we are seen as bush people i can assure you its not all how it seems ... we don't have koala's in our backyards same with kangaroo's. As for Australia being a shitty place to live ... America has earth quakes!! Land slides!! Twisters!! ... on the news we see grizzly bear attacks oh and not to mention the constant threat of terror due to a stupid prime minister ... ooops
