Because some people have large wooden spoons.

jigfam
I've never heard of this. Who says this?

Thomas L
Because they're wrong

Australia's cities are constantly growing.

How are they 'dead'? We are NOT from the Outback. We do NOT live with kangaroos. We are NOT from so-called 'ghost towns' with tumble weed rolling around.

Australia is one of the most urbanised countries in the world.

I have lived in a few and they are definitley not dead! Like to know where you got your info from..

(And we are not a prison and that kind of comment just isn't funny anymore - just shows a lack of intellect....)

They say that about many of the country towns - many have a dwindling population due to drought, lack of job opportunities, etc... as a result all the capital cities are growing.

Edit: Thanks TheSca - that video is hilarious!!!

aflumpire
dont know what you are talking about.

but they do poison our water with fluride and we are in a big drought!!

ThaSca: That is the furtherst thing from funny I have ever seen. How about you get a decent sense of humor and watch someone like Adam Hills or The Chasers??
