Now let's see. We could easily fit the population of New York, Mexico City, Tokyo, London, Beijing, Paris and a few other megalopolises in the region between Lake Eyre and Alice Springs. Plenty of room. Of course the poor b@$tards would starve, those that didn't die of thirst or heat exhaustion first.
We could get Iraq, Iran and Afghanistan between Melbourne and Brisbane. Might quieten them down a bit to get a bit of half decent country under their feet for a change. Dunno what to do with Africa. Some of them might fit into Tasmania.
If everyone lived here there would be too many people and all the Australians would go and live in Brazil or Argentina or Texas or Spain or France or whereever.
We drive on the correct side of the road. This is so drivers can stop in the middle of the highway and shake hands without getting out of their cars. Or brandish edged weapons.
We do have Krispy Kremes here. Had some a few months ago, I'm not anxious to repeat the experience. (Same goes for MacD's, KFC etc etc.) As for Starbucks, who needs them when we have our own coffee shops. |

I live in the US in the Rocky Mountains. I like where Ilve just fine, thanks, but I'll take your endorsement as an invitation to visit.
Believe me, you wouldn't want everyone there. It wouldn't as nice anymore. |

i Live in Australia!!!! For all those people talking about animals and skin cancer- its not like we live in the bush or anything- its quite similar and i know i that i don't have snakes in my backyard. As for Skin cancer- head of sun screen or "slip slop slap"??? We do have Krispy Cremes now you know. Also, sharks are not everywhere- that's why we have lifeguards with 'silly hats'. Its only hot in Jan and Feb and some of Dec. Plus we can go snoboarding etc- at special places where it does snow eg. Mt Bulla! |

Well, I live in Southland NZ. Right now it's raining here. Two of my friends are leaving for a week's holiday in NSW next week. I told them to take water bottles and a fire extinguisher. Does that answer your question? |

Oh! because it is much too small to hold all 6 billion of us you know! and then no one would like Australia because people would all be scrunched up together. |

Because we only want the decent ones Americans cant walk down the street without a gun.Indians you cannot walk behind if they have eaten curry.English cannot play sport. Now if you put them all together you get a gun carrying curry eating non sportsman would not fit into our way of life. The up side might be the French might get rid of the cane toads. |

I love it too. Manley Beach, sunset at Uluru, the vineyards of South Australia... just a few of the fantastic sites. All this and more in my panoramic photos: http://www.360travelguide.com/results.asp?StartNum=1&CountrySelect=Australia&LocSelect=All+Locations |

'Cause of all the Aussies... (well, ask a silly question!)
(And there seems to be a severe apostrophe shortage there - are you being asked to conserve them or what?) |

We don't want to get skin cancer. Not every country as as many skin cancer clinics as Starbucks... it was quite scary. |

I live in Australia =] . I was not born here though, but i've been here since i was 8 and now im 17 ... and i became an australian citizen a while ago aswell. So this place has become home for me, because i've spent more time here than in my born country.
Though i love my country to, i believe Australia has more opportunties available than other countries. |

Sure it's great but not everyone likes poisonous snakes, noxious scorpions and other creepy crawly creatures, let alone bush fires and droughts. Hey, there's no Wal-Mart!! Otherwise, we'd all be there. |

What about Poisonous insects/snakes/etc.
What about sharks?
What about bad beer?
What about life guards with silly hats?
What about no snowboarding/skiing?
What about no Krispy Kreme/In-n-out Burger? (I might be wrong here) |
