because they are australian animals and the only way you really see them in other countries is to go to a zoo, where as here travel in the right area on a highway and there should be several, most unfortunatley the victims of hit and run accidents, seriously though, we have kangaroos in most bushland areas and in every bloody zoo

we are also known world wide for our koalas and the way the water goes when we flush the toilet

We are also famous for our Bunyips and Dropbears, so do check us out.

tuppenybitz
because they are only found in australia

Do you think it could be because they are native to Australia?
People have to come here to see them in the wild.

HAPA CHIC
hmmm....where else do you find kangaroos ?

Arrays
Because kangaroos are exclusively native to the continent of Australia.

Somewhere between 45-60 different species of roos and their relatives, so there are everywhere. I doubt other countries would remember a bilby or numbat as an emblem.

Or an echidna (poor little kenny kidna's)

Gotta love the wombat, just like a man! (eats roots, shoots and leaves) but cuter.

festus_porkchop
Didn't you know? Every one in Australia owns at least on kangaroo.

Country Bumpkin
Because the bloody vermin are EVERYWHERE! ... stupid hoppy things...
