I live in Queensland an there are many great beauties in this paticular state. We have great beaches, the great barrier reef, there are plenty of jobs around and the people are very friendly except for some foreign tourists which you'll see a lot of in the cities. Another thing is our sport history with the Broncos, Cowboys, Lions and the newly found Titans and also our State of Origin team the Maroons. As for the weather it is fairly hot here in the summer and it can get pretty cold aswell.

To be honest, it isn't all it's cracked up to be!

I live on the Gold Coast and, yes, I admit I love it here.

But our interest rates keep going up, crime is getting out of hand, aboriginal people are treated awfully, our new Prime Minister will turn Australia into a slum in 3 years and people are getting nasty!

However some good things about Queensland (Gold Coast mainly) are beaches, lots of jobs and good weather.

I would personally stay in Auckland if I were you though. You don't know how good nz is until you leave it.

Thanks for the question :)

It's hardly any different, but Australia is warmer and the economy is even healthier/more jobs.
