G'day,
I'm an immigrant and I've been living in Melbourne for over 18yrs. I've been eating the food grown, processed and cooked here and I haven't been poisoned, still alive and well :) Oh... sorry... you mean the fauna life here... well... spiders and snakes all over the world are poisonous. Dun tell me if you are bitten by a cobra in India you're not going to die?
3 times larger! Of course.... the serving size of Fried Kueh Teow here in Australia is 3 times larger than in Malaysia or Singapore :) Oh... sorry again... you mean the animals. I've seen dogs and cats here and they are pretty much the same size as the ones in the other countries.
My suggestion will be... put down your pocket games and start travelling, explore other countries. My suggestion would be to go all around the world and if you want to, visit Australia at the end of your visit and you'll see the difference.
Open your eyes to new views. |

Good. We don't want you here if you're stupid enough to believe that cr@p.
EDIT:
Just realised I didn't actually answer your question.
They want to come here because they're not stupid enough to believe that cr@p. |

Why would you take a trip to Australia to seek out all the creepies and crawlies? The proper objective of an Australian holiday is obviously to lie on the beach and drink lots of beer. |

No one is inviting you to come anyway. If you don't like it stay at home. |

Well I have been here for 40 years and came to Australia when I was a little girl and haven't had a problem with poisonous creatures, so you sit there in your narrow minded world and stagnate. I love here and will never go back home as I was naturalized back in 2001. |

I have never been poisoned in my entire life and i have never left the country in 16 years. I live in a rural area and all.
Your bumble bees are the things that are 3 times as large as they are supposed to be.
And the snails from bali? Massive. |

Question
Why would anyone ever go to Australia?
Answer
Because they have sense enough to realise that, as with all countries, there is flora and fauna that's safe and some that's dangerous.
Visitors really need to watch out for our giant, man-eating sugar gliders and biblys. |

May I ask what country are you from? What makes you think your country is perfect?
Do you think we care? We don't even know you. All you look like at the moment is an ignorant little person jumping up and down complaining, trying to get some garbage knowledge through to others and no one is listening! One less tourist won't make a difference anyway.
We do NOT live in the outback with kangaroos, we do NOT feed them Vegemite, we do NOT hang around with venomous creatures. Thinking about it, I don't even think you have been to Australia before. Someone who has would NOT have used that as an excuse against Australia. Ever seen the papers with headlines like "VENOMOUS SNAKE KILLS A TOURIST". Look at pictures of Sydney, Australia's largest city for example... does that look like the outback? Does it look like it's a place infested with venomous creatures?
There are many people around the world who consider Australia to be the most fortunate place in the world and their dreams is to move here and start a new life. The only thing stopping them is money and the strict immigration laws in place. Do you think they want to come here to get attacked by venomous creatures? Seriously... it's time to be more realistic.
Get your facts right. |

Where should i start?
For starters we have a thriving tourism industry, a country full of natural beauty, we have the third highest human development index, behind Iceland and Norway.
Almost everyone is laid back and friendly, in all the countries i have been to, i have never encountered such great people as i have in Australia.
Most people are accepting of other cultures, making us one of the most multicultural countries in the world.
So yeah, its actually a pretty good place to be!
Why don't you come give us a visit, maybe it would change your mind? |

Australia is the best country in the world! I would never leave here. You might get the occasional skin cancer and a bite on the leg by a spider but I never got bitten by anything...yet. Aussies are really friendly people too.
Go Aussie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
