There are decent restaurants with reasonable prices everywhere in Austria, except maybe in urban tourist zones.
I did some random internet searches for the Linz area, and got several good hits (they were in German, so I'm not sure they would be directly helpful to you).
Here are some suggestions: Look for historic inns (usually called Gasthaus or Gasthof), especially a bit out of town. Up or down the Danube a bit would be good.
If you don't have access to a car, walk around the area where you are spending your time, and find places the locals use, even if they are only cafes or bars. Those are still good places to ask for recommendations. Austrians always know good places to eat, because they love good food.
The most important point I want to make, though, is that it is not important to spend lots of money in order to eat well in Austria. |

just want to share my favourite restaurant if you a lover of Asian food? you can find this restaurant which called 'Bamboo' (Margaretenstraße 51, A-1050 Wien) very near from Naschmarkt. There you can eat really decent especially the lunch buffet, you can eat all what is on the buffet munu& get them wok.cook your desired collection of seafood&fresh vegetables ...etc as much as you wish! all for just EUR 9 ,50...it's unbelievable& super good place to eat in!! i find it the best from the price for what good quality & service they offer. |
