Austria-Vienna-Spanish Riding School-seats question? |
What are the best seats to get for the Spanish Riding School performance? I would like a reasonably priced alternative from someone who has attended a show, as best seats start at EUR125. I a not sure if lower priced tickets mean little or no visibility of the show.
Also, what are the chances of finding tickets on the day of the show or is it best to buy online in advance?
Thanks |

A cheaper alternative would be the (almost daily) morning exercise with music which is a public training. price is 12 Euros only, no advance booking but tickets available at the same day.
Have a look here:
http://www.srs.at/index.php?id=387
You can also combine it with a guided tour.
Sorry, I don't know about the cheaper seats - some may have limited visibility. In seats like the Parterreloge (ground floor box) rows 2-4 you only have the people in front of you.
Standing places are also cheap and if you are there soon enough you will have the chance of chosing the best place.
I don't think that there will be many tickets available on the same day so advance booking is recommended - just have a look at the timetable there are not that much shows per month. |

hi!
go to www.srs.at
look at http://content.eventim.com/static/uploaded/at/images/seatmap/11182.jpg
here you can find the seatmap
I think it is better to buy the tickets online in advance as it is normally very difficult to get tickets on the day of the show:

Maybe the "morning exercise" is an option for you? It is not that expensive EUR 12pP and it's a training with music and also very nice...
Look at: http://www.wien.info/article.asp?IDArticle=10095
for more information.
If you need more information about vienna try www.visitvienna.org which is a very good website.
I hope this helped,
greets from Austria,

If you would like a truly inexpensive alternative, visit the Spanish version of the Vienna show. The shows are beautifully done, the horses are the same breed, and the price is far more reasonable because few people outside of Spain are aware of it:
