Can you tell me if the hotel Carlton in Vienna is within walking distance from the historical center?

It is in walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in the center of Vienna, in a quiet side street (not much traffic). Kärntnerstraße and Mariahilferstraße - both best known for shopping opportunities are only a few paces away.
From their website it looks like a very nice place with affordable prices. Note that a full buffet breakfast is already included in the rate.
If you want to go e.g. to St. Stephens Cathedral you can either walk (25 minutes) or use the Subway from Karlsplatz (600 m from the hotel) which takes you to St. Stephen's Square in about 2 minutes.
