Does anyone know of a tiny village?

called Ypps or Ybbs..its right on the danube in north austria..
help i can never find it on any map..i've been there!!!!

thankyou thankyou...i always thought it was YPPS, but it may be YBBS..its confusing if there is a twon called ypps then that is it. but one site is in german and i cant understand. are you austrian?

Yes, it is Ybbs an der Donau (on the Danube), and I've been there. I've never seen anyone spell it "Ypps".

If you can read German, enter "Ybbs an der Donau" into a search engine, and you'll get a lot of information. (Even if you can't read the German, some of the pictures are quite nice.)

I wouldn't say it's a tiny village any more, but it's still a rural town that attracts people who want to kayak on the Danube and bicycle along it, the favorite sports in the area.

Later edit: I did a bit of crawling around on the Austrian sites, and found some industry in the area, but no reference to a Russian cooperative venture. Doesn't mean it isn't there. Maybe someone local will see your question and chime in.
