I am interested to find out any information on what the shopping (regular every day and grocery shopping) is like in Klagenfurt Austria. What types of products, famililar brands etc. are available and what are the price like?

And all I can say is that in the supermarkets you can find almost anything you want...the brands might be different, but there are plenty of products available. Supermarket shopping makes a great, cheaper alternative to dining out every night!
Prices are not too bad, not as bad as in Switzerland.
And remember, they do not supply a free bag for your groceries. You must either supply your own or buy one.
I recommend you take 1 or 2 calico or similar bags with you.
Have fun.
