From my personal experience I find that I tend to dislike most Parisians, but like almost all other French. Exception being those raised out side of Paris and are only there now for work, they usually are remain good people but those raised in Paris are for the most parts jerks.
Australia is a huge country, the size of the continental(lower 48) USA, but only 3% of the country is populated mostly within 100 KMs of the Eastern coast. They are great, friendly people, and the beaches are great. Surprising to many is that 95% of the country is desert. They have the largest population of Camels of any country in the road. They were brought their in the early 1900's to help build the railroads and were turned loose at the work was done and thrived.
Cairns in the NE corner is where most people go to dive the great barrier reef. Its one of the best thing to do in Australia besides the pubs! lol
Back packing is very popular and you can do a trip very cheap, that is after you get there.
Hope you make it there some day its well worth the effort.

Yes, I like the French people, I knwo them very well, especially those who are open-minded and travel a lot, and have visited Moroco. However I don't like the French people who are always on strike for nothing nor those 30 to 40 per cent who vote for the extreme right. BUT apart from that, who does not like the country of Voltaire, Montesquieu, Zidane, Alizee, Chanel, and other world stars!!

I adore the French accent. To me it reflects on the people of the country itself. Are you all so romantic and suave?
I would like to go there one day, to see all of the historical sites, the monuments and the countryside as viewed during the " Tour de France " ( which I watch every year by the way and not only for the race itself but for the beautiful scenery as well ).

Australia is a great country with a healthy economy and wonderful landscape. The four seasons are not too diverse and Springtime is a very special time of the year. The flowers are in full bloom, birds are singing, the sky is azure and love is in the air.

I can't say that I don't like you because I don't know you. However I have a real dislike for the French government especially Chirac. I wouldn't pi*s on that guy if he was on fire.

I would like to know how you, the French can justify that you farmers receive 40 % of whole European CAP? Also why you hate the idea that the British get a rebate back from the EU, when they pay more money into it than any other country, yet receive very little back?
