Am a 35 years old Afro-Austrian and I live with my wife and kid in Vienna, my dream is to work for the United Nation office in Vienna, I heard that this is one of the ways that I could gain employment into the organization.
The only thing I have to my name is the Bachelor of Science in economics, which I got from Nigeria [ENUGU- STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY] to be precise.
I have also learnt during my six years in Europe that certificates gotten from any Africa university particularly Nigeria, could not lead you to a career status in Austria or any major European countries please advice on what to do . |

I am sorry to have to tell you this but your problem is not unique - there are many immigrants in other countries as well facing similar obstacles. In Canada, many doctors, nurses, architects, engineers, etc. immigrate here with foreign degrees which are not recognized in North America. The ones with time and money, instead of driving taxi cabs or working in restaurants, continue their education at Canadian or American colleges and universities in order to be accepted. Or, some just eventually leave in frustration.
My only advice to you is you will have to continue your education in Austria. I wish you lots of luck.
