Oh I've done that it's an exchange program right well you should go because you'll make plenty or friends on the way and learn about the countries culture, and I've always been away from my parents because I go to a boarding school since I was like in the 1st grade it's not that big of a deal and you might need to take some sleeping medicines for your sleeping disorder just in case

Also later on when you grow up your always going to have to face it being away from your parents and this I'm going to have to travel to Australia for exchange program also so it's not that big of a deal. So I Suggest GO!

look im in the 6th grade so im not much older and if i had the chance to go all the way across the world i would go for it

it would be an amazing opportunity and youll learn so much about life outside the us or wherever your from

if ull miss ur mom then just call her everyday and itll feel like shes right there with you

i know cause my dad had to move away to brasil where we used to live for a better job and i have to wait a year in texas before i can move there with him cause we have to wait for my bro to get in college first so i just talk to him each day and look forward to seeing him and it feels like he never moved

all in all trust me this will probably be the most amazing adventure of your life

and imagine how great itll look on your files for college and u could even turn it into a resume for a job by saying that u have experience overseas.

Personally, I would go.
You can seize new opportunities, discover new cultures, and learn many things from the people.
Don't let your sleep disorder ruin opportunities that can make you a super star!

if it's hard to sleep you can blame it on the sites.
australia is an amazing place, and really fun (even for someone your age)!
being afraid to be away from family is ok (it means you still love em)
but don't let it get in the way of such a fun opportunity

besides, you can call her form there or send her pics and letters of all the stuff you're doing there via e-mail (if your hotel has free internet).
