i dont think its correct, best to talk to the australian consulate in your country, you will need permission to work here tho its called a work visa

You need someone who will guarantee that should your funds run out you will not scrounge of the country you are visiting & will be able to support yourself for as long as you are there, it`s basically the same for any country apparently except it appears G.B!
