Linz apartments? |
How easy is it to get an apartment in Linz? Is the queue long, if it is there at all? I'm an 18-year-old student and don't speak any German, would it be easy for me to find a small and cheap place to live? Is there any site, where I could 'order' myself an accomodation (permanent one!)?
My head goes quite round as I don't know anything and am starting everything from absolute ZERO.

living is generally quite expensive in Austria - you are a student so I guess that might be a problem. So how about a flat-sharing community?

bearing in mind what the previous two people have said i wonder for a start if you would be better off finding a guest house (gast haus) in the outskirts of Linz for a short while,for a student that will stay for a while they may well give you a low cost room with breakfast and evening meal ,then you may get to know about other accommodation from other students ..as an Englishman living in Graz 25% of the year i find Austria cheaper than England and having a friend in Bavaria,Germany not far from LINZ who is a farmer and runs a gast haus ,i know he has long term residents at a lower price |
