Is it the same as Goethe-Zertifikat ?

(i.e. Ă–sterreichische Sprachdiplom Deutsch C1 = Goethe-Zertifikat C1 ??? )

What is "Ă–SD" about?

Which has a higher prestige in Germany ? Goethe-Zertifikat or Ă–sterreichische Sprachdiplom Deutsch (Ă–SD) ? Why do you think so?

Are both things recognized in Austria?

Ă–SD C1 equals Goethe-Zertifikat C1

Ă–SD is the Austrian Language Diploma for German as a Second Language.

In Germany the German Goethe Zertifikat will be better known of course, nevertheless German universities accept the Ă–SD as well.

Austrian Universities accept the Ă–SD and the Goethe Zertifikat.

THe levelling system A1 - C2 equals the Council of Europe Level System.
