Small town in southern austria, now slovenia?

I've been doing a little family history and learned that my great grandfather came from a town in (then) Mala Loca or Male Loca, Austria. I looked all over the internet to find this town. My grandparents visited the town while in Austria less than 30 yrs ago. Where is this town?

I found two places with that name, both now in Slovenia - correct spelling is: Mala Loka
