Peterskirche - Saint Peter´s Church: This is the second-oldest church in Vienna. The present St. Peter's is the most lavishly decorated baroque church in Vienna. Hildebrandt, the architect of the Belvedere Palace, is finished the building in 1732. The church contains many frescoes and much gilded carved wood, plus altarpieces done by well-known artists of the period.

St. Stephen´s Cathedral: Saint Stephen´s Cathedral is the topic of many books. It is one of the most famous Viennese sights and it was uncontested as highest building in Europe for a long time- measuring almost 137 m.

Albertina palace: The palais Albertina is situated in a historical center of Vienna - the Augustinerbastei, one of the last reminders of the protection wall constructed because of the turkish siege of 1529.

Rathaus: The Rathaus in Vienna is both the city hall for Vienna, and the seat of the Viennese Provincial Assembly. Its towers climb into the sky in a lacework of stone intricate enough to rival any church. The central tower is the tallest at 325 feet.

Burgtheater: This is one of the premier theaters in the world, and is considered one of the top performance halls in German-speaking countries.

Schönbrunn Palace:One of Vienna's most popular attractions, receiving some 1.3 million visitors a year. Millions of people -Viennese citizens as well as tourists-explore the surrounding gardens and Schönbrunn's other attractions, which include a zoo, the Palm House, the Gloriette, a coach museum, cafés, restaurants, classical-music concerts in the Orangerie, a theatre, catered and the inevitable gift shop.

Belvedere Palace: has a fine prospect of the old city from a beautiful garden. Belvedere means a place from which to see beauty.

The Vienna Prater: a long place of woods and meadows between the Danube and its tributaries, best known for its giant Ferris wheel and the amusement park.

Vienna City Park: Pedestrians approaching the park will find many different environments. People coming from the subway pavilions will see Viennese Art Nouveau, those coming from the "Ring" will go on shady paths and come to the famous Johann Strauss monument.

The Vienna State Opera House: This opera house offers room for 2276 spectators and it's stage is one of the largest in Europe. It was the first building erected on the Ringstraße when the old city's fortifications were torn down.

There is plenty more to do, hope this helps you a bit on your way. Have fun!
