For $300 US you can get a very nice hotel room in downtown Vienna, in the Ringstrasse area close to the shopping plazas and tourist attractions. Here are some great hotels and pensions: Sacher; Bristol; Imperial; Im Palais Schwarzenberg; Nossek; Pertschy; K+K Palais; Vienna Marriott; Kaiserin Elisabeth; Konig von Ungarn; Mailberger Hof; the Graben Hotel.
