The park you are probably thinking of is Prater. This is the oldest park in the world and was once old hunting grounds for the Royal Families of Austria. Today it houses a small amusement park with an assortment of rides from mild to very extreme. it costs nothing to enter the park however if you want take park in the attractions it varies per ride etc. This also happens to be the oldest amusement park in the world also, and home to some of the best food Vienna has to offer. Also for a great view the big Wheel is an excellent choice to overlook Vienna and spend about 15 minuets of relaxation. hope this helped :)
