'Must see' in Brazil? |
I'm off to a wedding in Sao Paulo in late October of this year: sadly, knowing very little about the region (my bad!), I'm not really sure what to see. I'll be there for 2 - 3 weeks, and other than the wedding, have no commitments.
Any suggestions on things that I should do, must see, etc? I'm a seasoned traveller, fit, tend to go off the beaten path a bit, love photography, not really interested in partying/ getting drunk etc every night (though once in a while is fun !), and will be on a reasonable budget. Any suggestions very gratefully received (feel free to just link elsewhere if you know any good websites, etc).
Cheers. Additional Details PS, it cany be anywhere in Brazil, not necessarily SP :) |

Hello,
I'm from Sao Paulo and according to what you have described, I would recommend you to visit;
Fernando de Noronha
Fortaleza and Jericoacoara
Salvador
Pantanal |

Cão Bravo

Bonito is in Mato Grosso do Sul. There are a lot of eco-type things to do there, such as swim with the fishes and hike throughout the countryside. |

Municipal market of São Paulo
I advise to eat a cod pastry.
It is located at Rua Cantareira, 306, downtown, between Rua 25 de Março and Parque D. Pedro II.
